It is ultimately the group’s responsibility to ensure that your event complies with all applicable laws, including, but not limited to fire and safety codes, rules and regulations.
Any event which has vehicle displays, fog machines, fueled cooking demonstrations, lasers, exhibits (including tabletop) or extensive productions with staging and props must have a certified permit from the local Fire Marshal. All associated fees for permits, floor plan approval and stand-by fire watch are the group's responsibility and are to be submitted by the contractor/vendor at least three weeks before the program. Final approved copies must be received at least three days prior to the event by the Event Manager.
